I often wonder, “Who do I think I am? I’m having conversations around topics that I don’t fully understand. What if I say something wrong…what will people think?”
Yep, imposter syndrome still rears its ugly head with me - and I am reminded of the reason for this podcast. I am meant for conversations on important things, especially the stuff I am called to shift and learn for REAL.
It took us a few minutes to get rolling in this episode because I was speaking carefully…and NOT because Tiffany K. Martin makes conversation difficult (quite the contrary - she is an exceptional woman). I was playing it safe.
We talk about life’s ever-shifting rules of engagement and our instinct of playing it safe or staying silent so we don’t “rock the boat.” And then, we dig into the value of rocking boats anyway.
We won’t always tackle new information beautifully - but we can continue to show up, learn and grow.
